Trump’s EPA cuts threaten water quality in Delaware River Basin, report says

Due to proposed budget cuts to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency by the Trump administration, water quality in the Delaware River Basin. Under the proposed plan, 34 percent of water-related programs run by the EPA would be cut. In particular, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and New York would some $14 million in grants to control pollution, as well as $3.3 million in funding for the protection of drinking water. This would put the drinking water quality of Philadelphia and other surrounding areas at risk.
