Why do I need an AquaBoy® Pro II? What's wrong with my tap water?
There are daily articles written about the various types of and amounts of toxins and chemicals being dumped into our public water supply. The only way to be certain that you and your family are drinking “purified great tasting water”TM is to make water yourself from the air with the AquaBoy® Pro II.
What about bottled water? Isn't that safe and pure?
Many articles have been published revealing that some bottled water is actually just reprocessed tap water. Water produced by an AquaBoy® Pro II is 99.9% free from any toxins, chemicals, or other harmful ingredients.
Is water produced by the AquaBoy® Pro II as clean as the water coolers in my office with the five-gallon bottle on top?
AquaBoy® Pro II water is 99.9% free from toxins, chemicals, or other harmful ingredients making it one of the cleanest, most refreshing waters on earth. The issue with water coolers is even though you may be receiving clean drinking water, the cooler itself is still a major problem. The bio-film, algae and bacteria that live in 95% of coolers contaminates your water once it comes into contact with it.
What does pH mean for water? What is the pH for the AquaBoy® Pro II?
The indicator for acidity or alkalinity of the water is known as the pH value. A pH value of seven means your water is neutral; water with a pH below seven is known as acidic; while any number above a pH of seven is considered alkaline water. The AquaBoy® Pro II produces purified water with a pH range of seven to seven and a half making it neutral and healthy for your body.
What temperature and humidity do I need in order for the AquaBoy® Pro II to produce water?
The AquaBoy® Pro II atmospheric water generator produces up to two to five gallons per day of “purified great tasting water”TM from the air. The amount of water produced will vary based upon relative humidity and temperature, with most efficient operation occurring at over forty percent and seventy-five degrees respectively.
What happens if the storage tank is full? Will the machine overflow?
Our state-of-the-art AquaBoy® Pro II appliance is driven by a control system that will stop generating water once full.
Will the water standing in a full storage tank become stagnant or stale?
The AquaBoy® Pro II continually recycles the water through its filtration system, ensuring the water stays 100% refreshing and purified.
Will the water produced from the air in my home/office give the water a funny taste or smell?
Absolutely not. The AquaBoy® Pro II comes equipped with a seven-stage EZ-Filter process to remove any unpleasant taste or odors that may be present in the air. The result is refreshing, great tasting, purified drinking water every time.
How does the cost and quality of bottled water compare with the water generated from the AquaBoy® Pro II?
The AquaBoy® Pro II will generate water more economically and of better quality. The production of one gallon of purified drinking water from the AquaBoy® Pro II costs far less than a gallon of bottled water purchased from the store. The average cost is about thirty-seven cents per gallon of water, while a gallon of bottled water costs one dollar and twenty-one cents.
Are there any other benefits to owning an AquaBoy® Pro II unit in my home or office?
Yes! The AquaBoy® Pro II is more than just an atmospheric water generator. It is a four-in-one appliance that acts as an air purifier, water purifier and air dehumidifier.
How often do I need to change filters, and is it hard to do?
The filters will need to be changed periodically. The HEPA air filter is once every three months, while all other filters need to be changed every six to twelve months.
Is the water essentially distilled?
The "purified great tasting water"TM that is produced by the AquaBoy® Pro II is much different (and better) than distilled water. There are many volatile organic compounds found in ground-sourced water used to create distilled water—and many of them have boiling points below that of water (like pesticides or herbicides and a whole lot of other volatile chemical compounds that have names far too difficult to pronounce, much less spell). The point is that when water boils into steam and then re-condenses as distilled water it still contains these dangerous volatiles. And distilled water has a large carbon footprint - it takes a tremendous amount of energy to boil water. Finally, distilled water that is not consistently being sanitized will eventually grow micro-organisms, bacteria, mold, etc.
